Your Ohio HealthCare FCU Debit Card is easy to use, but here are some tips that make it even easier:

• Always press or say "credit" when using your Debit Card to avoid any fees.
• Sign your plastic cards with permanent ink immediately upon receipt.
• Memorize your PIN number. Don't write it down, give it out or carry it in your wallet. Shield the screen and keyboard at the ATM or merchant counter.
• Save yourself a separate trip to the ATM, get cash back while picking up the groceries.  (Cash back options are limited to the merchant policies).
• Remember, funds must be available in your checking account for your purchase to be authorized.
• Protect your card from damage. Magnetic fields or excessive heat could deactivate it.
• Check your wallet often and report lost or stolen cards immediately. Your debit card is a direct link to your money, so be sure you know where your card is at all times. Call 1-800-754-4128 to report lost or stolen cards.
• Check your statement online through CU@Home. Know what you've spent and where so you can spot problems and contact the Credit Union immediately if any unauthorized transactions appear.
